M. Braude originally operated as a general dealer in Bronhorstspruit from about 1940.
The company was re-established in Pretoria in 1984. It is a family-run
business, specialising in the wholesale and distribution of Ndebele beaded
curios. We supply beaded and wire crafts to curio shops around Southern
Africa, as well as to the international market. We represent a group of
Ndebele women who make the beaded craft, who depend on all orders received
for their income. |

" When indeed shall we learn that we are all related one to the other, that we are all members of one body? Until the spirit of love for our fellowmen, regardless of race, colour or creed, shall fill the world, making real in our lives and our deeds the actuality of human brotherhood - until the great mass of the people shall be filled with the sense of responsibility for each other's welfare, social justice can never be attained."
Helen Keller. |
